AUDITIONS – “THE GRAND DUKE” FEBRUARY 2026 – 22 AND 23 SEPTEMBER 2025

EDGAS are delighted to announce that we will be holding principal auditions for our semi-staged version of “The Grand Duke”, which we’ll be performing on 27 and 28 February 2026, on Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 September at Murrayfield Parish Church hall. This is a chance to perform a lesser-known part of the G&S canon, with an on-book chorus, and some stage work by principals.

New chorus members (or those returning after more than a year away from EDGAS) are invited to attend a chorus rehearsal and sing for our Musical Director, David Lyle, afterwards; this can be a piece of your choice, but please bring sheet music for him if you require accompaniment. Our first full rehearsal is Tues 30 Sept at Murrayfield Parish Church hall.
